Stormwater Retention and Management

Stormwater management & drainage systemsAs commercial, industrial and residential areas develop, the need for effective storm water management becomes increasingly important.

Lack of a comprehensive Storm water management plan can wreak havoc in a community through flooding and water pollution. We consider each project individually, and we make sure all projects are completed on or ahead of schedule.

Drainage Solutions

Drainage solutions we have provided include:

  • Detention ponds
  • Storm sewers
  • Roadside swales

Our Storm Water Management Work

A sample project: We developed storm water master plans for the Toledo Express Airport Development Area. The plan evaluated approximately 102,300 linear feet of ditches and 43 major culverts. The plan highlighted weaknesses within the drainage system, prioritized solving hydraulic problems and studied how to prevent hazardous chemicals used at the airport from entering the storm water system and provided strategies for improvement. Recommendations were made for improvements, which were prioritized and included cost estimates.

We’ve successfully completed several storm water management projects in Perrysburg, Maumee, Waterville and Toledo, Ohio, and welcome all inquiries about potential projects. Check out our gallery for some examples.
